Voice Mate is the third generation of Parrot's
revolutionary organizers, which talk and recognize your voice. Voice Mate uses
the latest digital data storage and speech recognition technologies to provide a
talking organizer with a wide range of features which includes a phone book, a
voice note pad, an appointment book, a talking alarm clock and calculator. And
all of this is in a 40-minute version and a 80-minute version, which is the
latest new model.

The Importance of Voice Recognition:
Voice recognition allows people who are blind and
visually impaired to store and retrieve information such as phone numbers,
addresses and Appointments easily with voice commands. Just speak a name already
stored by your voice, and Voice Mate will repeat it and find its phone number.
Double click and Voice Mate will send touch tone signals to your telephone
receiver to dial the number.
Voice Mate announces functions verbally. This
makes it easy to use all its great features, which include phone book, note pad,
appointment book, talking clock and alarm, talking calculator, PC link for
storing data and updating software, dialing assistance, control panel.
Phone Book: Use your voice to Easily Record and
Retrieve six phone numbers: regular, fax, cell, home, work, other and the
address of each of your contacts.
Memo note pad: Use a keystroke to record an idea
or a message or a task to be done at any time.
Appointment Book: Verbally record and retrieve
your appointments. Be reminded of friend's and family's birthdays, times to take
medications, or any other repeating events. Consult daily engagements and the
times they take place.
Talking clock and alarm: At any time, a double
click announces the date and time.
Talking calculator: In addition to the 4 basic
operators, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, you have access
to Memory Set and Memory Recall. You can also calculate what things cost when
traveling abroad with the currency translator.

initial operation. It is recommended that you purchase the optional accessory of
8 AAA Nickel Hydrite batteries and a battery charger for the most economical
use. Please ask for this option separately from your unit.
