The Prisma Vision 7 is the only mini desktop-style,
portable, battery-powered video magnifier available.
No other portable magnifier allows
desktop-style reading and writing. Prisma Vision is ideal for college, high
school and intermediate students in the classroom, the library, between
school and home, or anywhere on campus.
Now you can accommodate your student’s IEP
or empower your Disabled Student Services Program with portability.
And it’s a convenient travel companion for
mobile professionals between home and office, from office to meeting room,
or on a business trip. It’s the perfect accommodation for a crowded
cubicle.
Prisma is the only battery-powered portable
video magnifier featuring desktop-style reading and writing. Prisma’s
camera offers from 2x-17x continuous magnification. The low magnification
levels are ideal for viewing photographs, diagrams, illustrations, or
objects, even a science project.
The highest contrast, portable, TFT display
features four levels of brightness and backlight adjustment. Choose full
color viewing, positive (black letters on a white background), negative
(white letters on a black background) or user-setable text and background
color selections to accommodate contrast sensitive low vision users.
A tilt stand allows the user to set a
comfortable reading angle and distance. Or connect to a 14-inch, 17-inch or
21-inch VGA monitor at school, office or home for larger magnification.
An optional TV accessory kit is available to
allow the Prisma camera to be directly connected to most TV monitors.
The built-in (not external) 1½ - 2 hour
rechargeable battery creates an ergonomic system. Extra batteries are
available.
