The Freedom Scientific Focus Series of refreshable
Braille displays provides the newest technology and features for users needing
superior navigation to Windows.
Focus is available in 44, 70 and 84-cell models
to suit any workstation.
Used with a screen reader such as JAWS for
windows, the Focus refreshable Braille cells act as a window that allows users
to navigate and read information in dynamic Braille -- and all of its
impressive features can be configured through JAWS.
Along with unidirectional advance bars, the
Focus Series gives superb navigational options to users with Freedom
Scientific's exclusive Whiz Wheels. Rapidly scroll line by line, sentence or
paragraph to quickly and easily navigate even the largest documents or complex
web pages.
Want to go faster? Combine the Whiz Wheels with
the Rapid Reading mode that configures the display to 20 cells, and read even
quicker with minimal hand movement. All buttons are individually configurable,
allowing the user to set up hot keys for applications.
Tech notes: The Focus Series includes a
serial connection, two USB ports and two audio inputs and one audio output so
you can connect to the computer and a phone at the same time.
